Short version: this website sets no cookies. No tracking, no profiling, no ad networks — and therefore no cookie banner.
Why there is no banner
A consent banner is needed when a website stores or reads information on your device that is not strictly necessary to run it — typically tracking and advertising cookies. We do not do that. Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018) and Article 6 GDPR require consent only for those non-essential operations. No reason, no banner.
What we store instead
One single thing, and it stays on your device: your choice between the light and the dark theme. It lives in your browser's localStorage under the key wf-theme and is never sent to our servers. If you never choose, the site simply follows your operating system setting. Clear the site data in your browser and the entry is gone — nothing is lost but the theme preference.
Technically this is not a cookie: localStorage is not sent along with every page request. It is a convenience setting you made yourself, and so it counts as strictly necessary under the rules named above.
Web analytics with Plausible
For traffic measurement we use Plausible Analytics, a European service running on servers in the EU. Plausible sets no cookies, assigns no device identifier and builds no profiles. Only aggregated, anonymous figures are recorded: page viewed, referring page, device type, browser, country. Your IP address is used briefly for processing and is not stored.
The measurement script does not come from Plausible but from wunderfarm.com itself: our own delivery network passes it through under /js/pa-….js and takes the counting calls under /api/event, neither of them cached. Your browser therefore opens no connection to an outside server. What eventually reaches Plausible is unchanged.
No individual person can be identified from this data, and visits cannot be linked together across days. No consent is required; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a website that works (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Plausible also runs on the public production environment only — our staging and development environments are not counted.
No third-party services
This website embeds no ad networks, social media plugins, fonts or videos from external servers. The Poppins typeface is hosted by us, not by Google. There is no Google Analytics and no Google Remarketing: the reference that used to stand here came from an old template and has been removed in this version.
Now that traffic measurement runs through our own domain as well, your browser makes no request at all to an outside host when it opens this page. The only addresses beyond wunderfarm.com are links you have to click yourself.
